There's a great trail about 4 miles from the mountain house. It's 1 mile for the while loop. We went around twice. It's very peaceful. So peaceful that sometimes you wonder if a mountain cougar is going to sneak up and snatch you!
And they say black is slimming.....

Every time I've gone on this trail there are horseback riders. The horses are beautiful. Their poop all over the trails....not so much.

Just some ducks

As I looped around I climbed a hill and at the top I looked up and saw this deer staring straight at me. Not very far at all. We both froze and I slowly lifted my camera to capture the moment.
