What are your trigger foods?

Ya know- the ones that make you want to eat so much that you have to unbutton your pants and then as soon as you can you get the elastic yoga pants on?

Mine:
Chips/salsa!   I could continually eat chips and salsa until the mexican restaurant kicks me out.  And I'm not kidding.

Luckily I met Ed the other day for lunch and I demonstrated self control.  I alloted myself 14 chips (a serving size) and then savored them.  And I really did feel satisfied!

So what are your trigger foods?  Do you eat them or try to avoid them all together?

  1. Mine is pizza. I can eat it until I'm sick.
We're not having pizza here this week-maybe next.
I can usually keep it under control with a big salad and a HUGE glass of water. Usually.

Utz chips & homemade dip.... I keep trying to convince myself they are "party" foods & should only be eaten as such... but its not working. :(

  3. Bread and REAL butter. I LOVE real butter and I love bread. They are both sitting on my thighs as we speak.

hard salami, salt & vinegar pringles... usually avoid them, but if I buy them, I just accept that it's an all-out food fest

BTW, you are looking great! Very inspirational.

  5. My trigger food is ice cream. I love, love, love it!! I don't avoid it, but I also don't keep it in the house. How could a 1/2 cup be a serving???? I eat like 4 cups at a time! ;)

  8. What isn't a trigger food! Ha! Thought I would share...the baked scoop chips are really good...1 oz is 2 pts! I don't like the regular baked tostitos, but I really like the baked scoops for some reason! Just thought I would share!

  9. Mine is also chips and salsa. I could eat it until I am literally sick. When I am not pregnant and I am watching my point values and stuff, I eat them, but I make sure to get the alloted amount, and then I put them back in the cabinet. If I leave them on the counter, I go back for more. But I usually do try to only get them occasionally for the house.
