Alcohol makes you fat

That's just the bottom line.  And not only does alcohol contain a ton of hidden calories, but it then inhibits your ability to make smart choices about the quality of food you're eating.  It's a gateway to the munchies.  Period.  And that sums up Boone for me.  :)

But today was good.  I got right back on the horse and I feel so much better!  And with bootcamp on Monday morning, I need to feed my body some good stuff.

Today's tracker:

Kind fruit/nut bar
Non fat, no whip mocha

Fage 2% greek yogurt with honey

Turkey sandwich on whole wheat with Smart Balance mayo, spicy brown mustard and 1 wedge of Laughing Cow Lite garlic and herb cheese

Cucumber slices with hummus
Mix of fruit: kiwi, grapes, strawberries
Whole grain crackers-5

Baked blue corn chips
1/2 avacado-sliced

Fage 2% greek yogurt with 10 almonds and honey

I totally agree with you on the alcohol thing. I'm doing Katherine's food plan-so no alcohol- it's hard but I feel amazing. I do give myself one day a week though. I sooo missed you while you were gone. Can't wait for tomorrow!! I love the hummus and cucumber-that's a great idea.

I can't take credit for the cucumber/hummus thing. I was helping with food at Lisa's daughter's wedding yesterday and that was a friendly thing to snack on. But I think I'll make it at home from now on. It was topped with a small slice of sundried tomato. Very tasty!
